Harbhajan Singh may announce his Retirement from International Cricket after IPL 2020

According to sources, Harbhajan will announce his retirement after this season of IPL. Last year, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan also decided to say goodbye to international cricket after being left out of the team. Harbhajan will be seen playing for the Chennai Super Kings team this year too.

Team India's legendary bowler Harbhajan Singh has been out of the team for a long time and now it is being speculated that he can retire from all formats of cricket soon. According to sources, Harbhajan will announce his retirement after this season of IPL. Last year, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan also decided to say goodbye to international cricket after being left out of the team. Harbhajan will be seen playing for the Chennai Super Kings team this year too. He will make an official announcement about his career only after the IPL to be played in March and April this year. Bhajji last played for India in the Asia Cup T20 tournament in March 2016.

He returned to the Indian ODI squad against Zimbabwe in 2015 after nearly four years, while in 2015 he returned to the T20 team after three years. Harbhajan made his Test debut in March 1998 and took 417 wickets in 103 Tests till August 2015. During this time, he took 25 wickets in the innings. He was also part of the Mumbai Indians team from 2008 to 2017. Subsequently, in 2018, he was associated with Chennai Super Kings. He also represented the Punjab Ranji team in 48 matches. He has captained the team of Punjab.

Harbhajan Singh is the third-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket for India. Harbhajan's number comes after Anil Kumble's 619 test wickets and Kapil Dev's 484 Test wickets. He has taken a total of 417 Test wickets. Significantly, former Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also not played any match for India since the ICC World Cup semi-finals. It is being speculated that Dhoni may also announce his retirement after IPL.
