The three-day winter session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly ended on December 11, but after that a special session was called on January 10 to implement the Citizenship Amendment Act passed by the Central Government in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in Gujarat. has gone. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has bluntly stated that both CAA and NRC laws will be implemented in Gujarat. Although the central government is also not convinced about the NRC at the moment, but Gujarat wants to stand in support of the CAA, so that an atmosphere can be created in favor of CAA in the country.

Significantly, if there were statements issued by the BJP-ruled and anti-BJP governments of the country in its support and opposition, then there were rallies, demonstrations, sabotage and arson, but no state has officially recognized the CAA but the Gujarat government Has taken initiative in this matter.

Although the prescribed form for this is not yet being completed, the state government is collecting this data to identify the beneficiaries of various schemes of the central and state government.

After the passing of Citizenship Amendment Act by the Central Government, Gujarat has also supported the CAA and NRC but its implementation in Gujarat will prove to be a crook for the State Government. There have also been violent protests in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Vadgam regarding CAA and NRC. In Gujarat, there are a large number of tribal communities in half a dozen districts, in such a situation, the government will have to see that once again there is no misunderstanding among the minorities and tribals. On January 10, the government has called a special session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, so that after Parliament, the CAA can be passed from the Legislative Assembly also to create an atmosphere in its favor.
