In the case of the death of a Dalit girl in Modasa town of Aravali district of Gujarat, there is a big disclosure. In the second postmortem report of of the girl, it has been found that all the limits of cruelty were crossed with her. A panel of 5 doctors has reported that the student was dragged, hanged after having unnatural sex. On the other hand, CID Crime officials investigating the case also said that the scratch marks on the victim's body indicated that the girl was first dragged, then murdered after being raped.
The postmortem report of the rectum has revealed that the student was subjected to extremely brutal unnatural sex. The Dalit girl was found hanging from a tree in her village on 5 January. The postmortem report states that a part of the rectum had come out of the anal .In addition, unusual scratches of red color were found in the upper part of the left side of the chest. Not only this, there are scratches on the left shoulder of the student and injury was found in the left thumb.
According to the report, the injury to the throat suggests that he was forcibly hanged. The killers dragged her before killing the student and later hanged her. This second report of postmortem has raised a serious question on the first report stating that there are no signs of rape or murder.
An accused Satish Bharwad is still absconding
Earlier, the police had registered a case against Bimal Bharwad, his friends Darshan Bharwad, Satish Bharwad and Jigar. Three of them have surrendered to the police while one accused Satish Bharwad is still absconding. After this assassination people got angry. The protesters have alleged that the 19-year-old student has been killed by gang-raping but the police is not arresting the accused.
The girl's family members have also alleged that the police have taken serious care in the entire case. The justice campaign started on Twitter for this murder and thousands of people tweeted and demanded justice for the Dalit girl. The investigation was then handed over to the CID. The CID is also investigating the negligence of police officers.
This is the whole matter
On January 1, a 19-year-old student went missing from Modasa town. His body was found hanging from the tree on 5 January. The family then accused him of murder and gangrape. Angry at the attitude of the Gujarat Police, the family members of the girl refused to accept the body. The body was cremated on 9 January, 4 days after the assassination. The police officer who was negligent in this entire case has been suspended.
Demonstration by villagers, justice campaigned on Twitter
After the assassination, the people of the village protested strongly. Not only this, but thousands of people tweeted on Twitter and demanded justice. The hashtags associated with it trended in the top 10. Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh also tweeted, demanding justice for the girl's family members. Deshmukh wrote in the tweet, 'A 19-year-old girl is hanged on a tree after being kidnapped, gang raped and murdered. Be it of any religion or caste, just remember that she was a young girl who had hopes and aspirations in her life. The culprits should be hanged in public.
