The BJP and Congress have started preparations for the by-elections in Gujarat after the Rajya Sabha elections. The by-election is to be held in 8 seats and these are the same seats which were vacated due to the resignation of 8 Congress MLAs this year. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Union Minister Purushottam Rupala, Organization General Secretary V Satish etc. attended the party meeting.
The Seats were vacated due to the Resignation of 8 Congress MLAs
By-elections are required to be held on these seats which are vacant after resignation, so the Election Commission has started preparations for the by Election. Congress leader Nishit Vyas says that the party is sending the information of its Ranchod leaders to the public so that the public can teach them a lesson in the by-election. On Monday, this meeting was held in Gandhinagar BJP office Kamalam. In which discussion was held for the strategy of the by-election.
Gujarat will again have a by-election in August and September 2020 in eight assembly seats, before the by-elections are held in 6 seats. It is known that 5 out of 8 MLAs who have left the Congress have joined the BJP, now it is believed that the BJP can field these leaders. Congress will give priority to dedicated leaders and workers for the party in this election. A similar leader will be given a ticket in the by-election.
Vyas says that the Congress will give priority to the dedicated leaders and workers for the party in this election, in the by-elections, such a leader will be given a ticket. Though the Congress has not yet met on the by-election strategy, the party is already working on the message it has to convey to its leaders and workers. During the Rajya Sabha elections, when many Ranchod leaders left the Congress, during that time our teams of leaders have gone to their constituencies and told the public about this act.
