Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken of a Multipurpose ID card. This card will contain everything from passport, Aadhaar and voter cards. There are many ID cards in the country at present, such as Aadhaar, Passport and Voter cards, which are used as address and photo identity cards. Amit Shah has given the idea to integrate all these into one card.
According to the idea given by the Union Home Minister, they want that different cards like Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card are all included in one card. Not only this, they have given the idea that bank account should also be linked with this card.
The census to be held every 10 years is also to be held in the year 2021. In this way Amit Shah told that the 2021 census will not be done door-to-door but through mobile app. He said that there should also be a system in which this information gets automatically added to the population data when a person dies.
