Before the election of local bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions, the Government of Rajasthan has transferred 70 IAS officers. Senior officers posted in important departments like mines, industries, power and agriculture have been placed in positions of lesser importance. Dinesh Kumar has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Mines, which has been discussing corruption for some time. Dinesh Kumar has returned to his original cadre Rajasthan after deputation to the center two months ago.

10 district collectors have been changed in the transfer list issued at 2:30 pm on Saturday night. It includes district collectors of Bharatpur, Dholpur, Sikar, Karauli, Tonk, Chittorgarh, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Kota and Dungarpur. Till now, IAS officer Gajanand Sharma, who was working as OSD of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Earth Management and Director of Foreign Affairs. After the High Court's decision to withdraw the facilities of former Chief Ministers, the removal of Gajanand Sharma was considered certain. Vasundhara Raje also relieved her.

Additional Chief Secretary Ravi Shankar Prasad has been made the chairman of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation. Dr. Subodh Agrawal has been given the additional chief secretary of the Department of Industries, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSME), State Undertaking and Non-Resident Indian Department, Pawan Kumar Goyal, Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation, Dr. R. Venkateshwara, Administrative Reforms and Coordination. He has been made the Chief Secretary of the Department of Prosecution and Printing and Stationery Department.
