New Motor Vehicle Act has come into force in the country from September 1, after which thousands of people are being invoiced. At the same time people are also complaining that when they show the policemen in their RC License Insurance or PUC Digilocker or M Transport App, the police do not consider it valid. Challan them forcibly harassing them.

The Union Road Transport Ministry has issued an advisory to all state governments and police of all states, according to which if the driver shows his RC, driving license, insurance etc. information on the mobile phone on the DigiLocker or M Transport App, then it should be considered valid and They should not be invoiced.

The advisory also states that if for some reason the driver does not have a mobile or there is a situation in which he is not able to show his papers directly or digitally to the police, even then the police should not challan him but Parivahan app itself Or check the details of the person in the e-challan app present with the police and do not challan the person.

If the police has stopped you during routine checking and you do not have documents, then you can show your documents in digital form or the police can verify your documents in digital form. But if you have violated the traffic rules, then you will be challaned. Suppose you did not wear a helmet, did not wear a seat belt, did a red light jump, etc., the police would accept all your documents, but would invoice them for violation of these rules.
