Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra took a meeting on Monday to make universities smart. On this occasion, Governor Kalraj Mishra stressed on constantly innovating in universities and promoting education. He said that universities doing good work in the field of higher education will be awarded at the state level. The Governor himself will continuously review to improve and innovate the educational environment in universities. Under this, he took a meeting of the Vice Chancellors of state universities and key officials of the state government on Monday.
He said that in the era of IT, work has to be done in the changing perspective of social environment. IT knowledge should be provided to students. He asked each university to share its innovation, Connect skill development with local industry. If we connect education with social concerns and students with personality development, then there will be a big change in the state and the country. He said that along with making the university smart, traditional energy sources should be used to the maximum. In the meeting, a committee was formed to deal with the problems related to pension of the employees of universities.
The meeting was also attended by Dev Swaroop, Additional Secretary of University Grants Commission, Dr. Abhay Jare, Senior Officer of Human Resource Department and Niranjan Arya, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department in the state. The next meeting to review the academic environment of the universities will be held in the month of February next year. Due to the government universities of Rajasthan becoming smart, the students will not have to go out for higher education, they will get all the facilities here.
