The central government is going to start 'Border Tourism' to make the youth aware of the country's borders and to stop migration from the rural areas of the border area. It will be implemented from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Rajasthan, West Bengal to the Northeast. Due to the lack of facilities in the international border areas of the country, there is migration from rural areas. This is also a big threat to the security of the country. Keeping this in mind, the government is going to take this initiative.

According to officials, there is a migration from villages to cities due to the lack of facilities in rural areas like better education and health system, and lack of employment. The biggest problem is in the states bordering the country. Villages have become empty due to migration. This is increasing the danger on the international border. That is why the government is bringing 'border Tourism'. First of all, facilities will be increased in rural areas. When good education, better employment opportunities start being available near the house, then migration will be stopped.

Secondly, due to the tourists on the international border, the movement will increase and this will also keep an eye on the security of the borders. Under this thinking, the government is preparing an action plan with various state governments regarding 'border tourism'. Its responsibility has been entrusted to the Union Ministers so that all the departments together can carry forward the work.

History can be known through light and sound show

The Wagah border is always buzzing with the audience. However, the audience will not be aware of the history related to the event to be held at the Wagah border. That is why a light and sound show will be started to make the audience especially the youth aware of the history of the Wagah border. After this, the audience will get information about those historical places through light and sound shows on other borders as well.

An increase in employment will also stop migration

Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, G Kishan Reddy said that 'Border Tourism' is a new topic. At present, lack of facilities and employment has led to migration to cities in large numbers. Along with increasing the facilities here, tourism will be promoted. With the arrival of tourists, the local youth will get employment. Apart from this, the security of the border area will increase. The younger generation will also get a chance to see their border.
