The government in the Lok Sabha informed that several steps have been taken to tackle the coronavirus in the country. So far, thermal screening of nearly two lakh passengers has been done at various airports.

In the Lok Sabha, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that 1,97,192 people from 1,818 flights have been screened at various airports in the country. Arrangements for passenger checks have also been made at 12 ports. So far, thermal screening of nearly two lakh passengers has been done at various airports. After the confirmation of a case in Nepal, people coming from there are also being investigated at the border. Meanwhile, the government in the Lok Sabha informed that several steps have been taken to tackle the coronavirus in the country.

On the other hand, the investigation report of a Kerala medical student infected with Coronavirus in India has come negative. The student returned from Wuhan, China and was the first patient infected with the coronavirus from India. Earlier, his test report came positive. 

In Thrissur, Kerala Health Department officials said on Monday that blood samples of the first victim of Coronavirus were sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Alappuzha, where the report came out negative. But this is yet to be confirmed from the Pune-based NIV. The condition of the student is stable. There are 3,367 people under surveillance in the state, of which 31 are in isolation wards of various hospitals. At the same time, 34 out of 37 people kept in isolation wards of various hospitals in Maharashtra have been discharged.
