Kerala government told Justice PB Suresh Kumar that as per the new guidelines on COVID-19 issued on August 10, people living alone, who have not been vaccinated and who do not even have RT-PCR report of not infected can step out of the house for essential work. However, the Kerala government said this in response to a petition by a person, which claimed that no one should be allowed to leave the house if they did not take a single dose of the vaccine or did not have an RT-PCR report of not being infected. equivalent to arrest.
The petitioner's lawyer is also allergic to the drug and had argued that he cannot get the vaccine until the vaccine dose will affect any kind of allergy. The lawyer also claimed that the district medical officers and even private hospitals are refusing to give the dosage saying that they have no instructions regarding the same.
