Tech company Google is now giving Indians a chance to earn. The company is testing the ‘Task Mate’ service in India. Through the service, users will be able to complete the tasks given on the smartphone itself, in return for which they will be paid. The company is hoping to gain some goodwill and provide relief to people in this era of rising unemployment due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Earn Play Store Credit by Answering Questions

The Task Mate Service is largely similar to the company’s Opinion Rewards app, which allows users to earn Play Store credits in exchange for answering questions. However, the biggest difference is that – instead of limiting the earnings from the Google App Store, task mate users will be able to cash their payment so that they can spend it in the real world.
Currently, Task Mate Access is Limited
Redid stated in its report that it was first spotted by the 9 to 5 Google site, adding that currently Task Mate access is limited to only a few people. At the moment, only users who get early access referral codes will be able to download the app.
Seating Work or Fieldwork

The overall framework of Google Task Mate is quite simple. The user has to search for ‘Task Nearby’ and decide which task they want to complete. The task can either be from some of the world’s Google businesses or can be from Google itself. Business tasks can be either seating work or fieldwork. Fieldwork may require the user to visit their nearest landmark or shop.
Based on the Company’s Service
Google’s operations will usually be based on the company’s service. For example, ‘recording the spoken sentence’, ‘checking the details of the shops’ or ‘taking a picture of the shop by going to the location shown in the pin’. At the moment, there is no time limit on how long it can take users to complete a task. After the work is completed, the user can register their e-wallet or payment partner, transfer the funds to their bank account and get the cash.
Currently, Earnings are Visible in Dollars
It is currently unclear how businesses are outlining their requirements to Google. It is also unclear whether this is just a crowd-sourcing mission or whether business techs are paying the company. But it is worth noting that in the screenshots that have come out at present, the earnings are visible in dollars.
Another way of Gathering Information
It is not clear whether Google’s Task Mate will be represented in rupees after it was officially launched in India. It can also be said that this is another way for Google to gather information. However, Google is already doing so – regardless of Task Mate.
