Google, Facebook Keeps its Secret Eye Those who Watch porn

If you are looking at pornography using 'incognito mode' and are thinking that nobody will know it then you are wrong. Google, Facebook and even Oracle Cloud also keep an eye on you.

Even when switching to 'incognito mode' on a laptop or smartphone, the porn you watch is secretly monitored. This is revealed in a new joint study by Microsoft, Kangeragy Melon University and the University of Pennsylvania. The investigation found that 93 percent of web pages are such that track and leak user data for third-party organizations.

For this, 22,484 sex websites were tricked using a tool called 'WebXRay'. Researchers who identified 230 different companies and services tracking their users in their sample said, "Tracking on these sites is centered through some major companies." Google tracks 74 percent of non-pornography-specific services, Oracle 24 percent, and Facebook tracks 10 potential sites. Pornography-specific trackers include EXO clicks (40 percent), Zusaid (11 percent) and Ero advertising (9 percent).

The study said that the top 10 companies of non-pornography are in the US, while most of the pornography-specific companies are in Europe. The team of researchers created a fictitious profile called 'Jack', who decides to watch porn on his laptop. Jack turns on the 'incognito mode' in his browser and assumes that his work is now private. She searches for a site and scrolls down a small link for a privacy policy. She thinks the site under the Privacy Policy will protect her personal information, so Jack clicks on a video.

Researchers said, 'Jack does not know that' incognito mode 'only ensures that his browsing history is not stored on his computer. The online activities related to the sites that he visits can be seen and recorded by third-party trackers. With all the information accessed through Jack, these third-party trackers can also guess their sexual desires with the help of those sites. They can also sell jack-related data.
