On Thursday, GoAir has fired one of its trainee pilot for objectionable Social Media Post. Employee Asif Khan made vulgar comments on Twitter about Sita Mata, following which Boycott (#boycottGoair) started trending on Twitter. For this, many Twitter users had tagged #boycottGoair and demanded action. People demanded strong action against the employee. People said that if Go Air would not terminate him, they would not travel further from this flight.
Sonam Mahajan tagged #GoAir, “Hi @GoAirlinesIndia, Please clarify if Asif Khan @MdAsif35534489 is really your employee as his twitter bio states. If he is and you do not fire him for this unpardonable public conduct, it will mean that you are complicit in encouraging such hatred against the Hindu religion.”
Soon after my tweet, Asif Khan deactivated his profile but I am glad, GoAir didn’t let him get away.ADVERTISEMENT
