Petrol and diesel prices hiked again on Monday after a day's relief. The Congress said on Saturday that it will hold a nationwide demonstration on 29 June against the continuous increase in the prices of petrol-diesel. Government oil marketing companies have increased petrol prices by 5 paise per liter in the capital Delhi, while diesel prices have been increased by 13 paise per liter.

The All India Congress Committee (As part of All India Congress Committee, AICC) will stage a protest in Goa on Monday against the increased prices of petrol and diesel at the district level. State President Girish Chodankar gave this information. Also Girish has released a press release, it says, 'A strike demonstration will be organized for two hours from 10 am to 12 noon on Monday. In Margao, there will be a strike near the District Collectorate Office of South Goa and Deputy Collector Office of Mapusa, demanding withdrawal of the increased prices. On Monday, an online campaign will be organized by the social media team of AICC, which will be about the increased petroleum prices."
