George Floyd Tested Positive for COVID-19 in April, Revealed in Autopsy Report

The post-mortem report of George Floyd, who was killed in police custody in Minneapolis, US, was released on Wednesday. This showed that Floyd had also been infected with COVID-19. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office released a 20-page report after permission from Floyd's family. A government official authorized to find out the cause of death said that Floyd had suffered a heart attack.

The report of Chief Medical Examiner Andrew Baker, along with several medical information, also states that Floyd was found infected with COVID-19 on April 3, but had no symptoms of the disease. The report stated that Floyd's lungs looked healthy, but there was a little contraction in his heart's arteries.
