On Saturday, India's squad won the ICC Under 19 Global Cup 2022 final in Antigua, extending its own world record. India won the Under 19 World Cup for the sixth time by defeating England by four wickets in the final match. India's team has already won five U19 World Cup titles, more than any other country.

India had improved its record of being in the final eight times out of fourteen ICC Under 19 World Cups, and by winning the final match, India made history. Apart from India, Australia's squad is ranked second, having won three championships. At the same time, Pakistan's team has been in contention for the ICC Under 19 World Cup on two occasions. Aside from these teams, England, the West Indies, South Africa, and Bangladesh have all won the trophy.

The England team won the toss and chose to bat first in the final match of the ICC Under 19 World Cup 2022. The English squad, on the other hand, was bowled out for 189 runs by Raj Bawa (5 wickets) and Ravi Kumar (4 wickets). Simultaneously, the squad led by Yash Dhull reached the target of 190 runs in 47.5 overs with 6 wickets lost. India won by four wickets in this manner. India was the only Ajay team to win all six matches in this competition. England won five matches at the same time, while losing the sixth (final) match.
