Four more people have died due to Corona virus infection in Rajasthan while 2,008 people have been confirmed infected with the virus till Friday afternoon. State's Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rohit Kumar Singh said that a 75-year-old elderly man from Jamwaramgarh was admitted to the hospital on April 13 for urgent surgery. His first investigation report came 'negative' and in the second he was confirmed to be infected with Corona virus. He died on April 22, even before the report came out.

The number of deaths related to corona virus infection has increased to 32 in the state. Officials say that in most of the cases the patients were also suffering from some other serious illness. At the same time, 44 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the state till 2 pm on Friday, including 18 in Kota, 21 in Jaipur, four in Jhalawar, one in Bharatpur. Rajasthan has two Italian nationals as well as 61 people who have been brought from Iran to the army health centers in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer in total cases of corona virus infection. The state has been under lockdown since March 22 and curfew has been imposed in many police station areas.
