Former Brazilian president and leftist leader Luiz Inacio Lula de Silva gave a fiery speech to his supporters in a labor union stronghold on Saturday. A day after returning from jail, he addressed supporters in an aggressive manner and targeted opponents. Lula praised his supporters in the metalworkers' trade union. Lula once led this trade union.

Angry at opponents after getting out of jail

Lula targeted Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and those jailed on charges of corruption last year. President of brazil a few hours earlier had made a sharp statement about Lula. Significantly, Lula was sentenced to jail last year on charges of corruption. Lula said, 'Bolsonaro was elected to serve the Brazilian public and not to govern for the militiamen of Rio de Janeiro.'

Enthusiastic supporters surrounded him when he arrived in São Bernardo da Campo, located near Sao Paolo, Brazil's largest city. In his election campaign last year, Bolsonaro said he hoped Lula would rot in prison. On Saturday, Bolsonaro tweeted and told his supporters that Lula is free, but not crime-free.
