Former England All Rounder Peter Walker Passes Away

A former England team all-rounder Peter Walker has passed away. According to the England Cricket Board, former all-rounder Peter Walker, who was 84 years old, has passed away. The England and Wales Cricket Board also expressed condolences on the death of Peter Walker. Peter Walker made his international debut during the 1960s, but he never made it to the England team. Peter Walker played 3 Tests against South Africa in the year 1960. After this, he did not get a place in the team. Peter Walker had scored just 128 runs in 4 innings of 3 Tests played in his career, including 52-run innings. At the same time, he bowled in 3 innings, but could not get a single wicket. This was the reason that he never got a chance again.

Peter's first-class career lasted 16 years and he played 469 matches for Glamorgan's team. In these matches, Peter Walker hit 13 centuries and 92 fifties, while he also managed to take 834 wickets.

Peter Walker was a left-arm pacer at first, but later he became a left-arm spinner. Towards the end of his playing career, he moved to the media. Walker returned to the game as chief executive of the Wales Cricket Board in 1996 and later became chairman of the Glamorgan CCC between 2009 and 2010. The following year he was awarded the MBE for services to cricket. The ECB has given this information. The board has also said that we have our condolences with Peter's family and friends at this time.
