By taking part in the rules and directives, Delhi has seized 211 passports among 287 foreigners hiding in various mosques in Uttar Pradesh by participating in the Tablighi Jamaat programs. Let us tell you that 34 cases have been registered against people who attended Tablighi Jamaat.  Apart from this, a large number of cases have also been filed against the other deposits held in the districts.  Only about 450 people have been booked in Meerut and adjoining districts.  These deposits have been filed under the Pandemic Act.
Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that the visas of people coming from abroad are constantly being reviewed.  Others included in the Tablighi Jamaat are also being marked.  People involved in the Jamaat should inform themselves to avoid corona. Also asked the common people to inform the police and administration or control room on getting any information about them.


During the lockdown, police are constantly taking action against those who violate instructions and rules.  Police have registered 7177 cases under Section 188.  According to the information given by the state government, action has also been taken by registering 72 FIRs under the Essential Commodities Act.  The police had fined 18,1004 vehicles and seized 13927 vehicles during the lockdown.  Over three and a half crore rupees have been extinguished.
Apart from those who joined the Tabligi Jamaat in Delhi, a large number of Jamaatis in various mosques of Uttar Pradesh districts were staying to participate in local programs.  They came out in the police raids in the last two days.  A large number remained in Meerut and adjoining districts, Bijnor, Saharanpur, Shamli, Bulandshahar, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar where 2058 deposits have been caught.
