Foreign Minister Jaishankar Discusses Kashmir During Bilateral Meeting

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said that the current situation in Kashmir was briefly discussed during a bilateral meeting with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and US lawmakers. The Foreign Minister said that he had bilateral talks with his counterpart Pompeo in the US on Wednesday. He then joined another 2 + 2 dialogue with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and US Secretary of Defense Mark Osho. Jaipal, through this proposal, is demanding that the Indian government release the detained people as soon as possible and start communication in Kashmir. This proposal also states that security forces in Jammu and Kashmir are facing a lot of challenges there. The bonds that are being signed to release them should not have the condition to stop speech and political activities.
