Fish Biryani: Try this Amazing and Delicious Recipe

If you think that Biryani is made with only chicken or mutton, then we have brought a surprise for you. You can make very tasty fish biryani and that too in just half the time. Since the fish takes very less time to cook, it is very easy to make this biryani. If you want to give a South Indian touch to this biryani, then add a few spoons of turmeric water and curry leaves to it.

Ingredients:

250 grams of fish

1 cup rice

1 piece of cinnamon

5 cloves

3 Green Cardamom

1 black cardamom

1 bay leaf

1 green chili

1 teaspoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

Half cup coconut

1 teaspoon turmeric

Half a cup of cashew (finely chopped)

1 teaspoon garam masala powder

A quarter cup of ghee

Salt to taste

 Step 1:

First, boil the rice until it is fully cooked. If the rice becomes too boiled, the dish will lose its original taste, so cook the rice properly and then take out the water and spread it on a plate.

 Step 2:

Chop the fish and keep it aside. If you wish, you can also cut the fish into pieces a little bigger in size.

 Step 3:

Take a deep pot and heat ghee in it. When the ghee becomes hot, fry it by adding cardamom, bay leaf, green chillies, cloves, cinnamon and finely chopped cashews. After 2-3 minutes, add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt and cook for 2 minutes. Put the pieces of fish in it and cook until the fish turns golden in color from both sides.

 Step 4:

Now add rice, grated coconut and mix it lightly. At this time add garam masala powder and water to the dish and cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Fish biryani is ready. Serve it with raita and salad of your choice.
