Nine people have lost their lives in a fire at the textile warehouse of Kiradi, Delhi. According to the information received so far, 3 people died on the spot due to fire while 6 others died during treatment. At the time of the fire, some people were sleeping in the godown. After the fire was reported, the team of fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire after much effort.

After the incident, the Delhi government announced compensation in the afternoon. The government will provide Rs 10 lakh to the family of the people who lost their lives in the accident. At the same time, one lakh will be given to the injured. On behalf of the Delhi government, Satendra Jain said that there will be an SDM level investigation in the case. The cause of the accident will be ascertained within seven days.

A police official said that three people who were identified as Pooja (24) and her daughters Aaradhya (three) and Soumya (10) were rescued in the Kirari incident. All three jumped into the adjacent building to escape the fire. The owners of the identified building are Ram Chandra Jha (65), Sudaria Devi (58), Sanju Jha (36), Guddan and Uday Choudhary (33) and his wife Muskan (26) and their children Anjali (10), Adarsh (seven ) And a six-month-old baby girl as Tulsi.
