The budget session started after President Ram Nath Kovind's address. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Economic Survey 2019-20 in the Lok Sabha. After this the Lok Sabha has been adjourned till tomorrow. Nirmala Sitharaman will present the first budget of the second term of the Modi government in the Lok Sabha on 1 February.
