Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that if there is import from any country for the country's progress, then there is nothing wrong in it. This statement of the Finance Minister is very important in the country amid increasing demand to curb imports from China. Significantly, in the recent violent clash on the India-China Line of Control, 20 soldiers of our country were martyred, after which anti-China nationalism is at the peak in the country. Many organizations have appealed for boycott of Chinese goods, but, in India-China trade, the situation is tilted in favor of China.

Apart from this, she said that there are some things, on whose imports we should think carefully, such as items used in worship, soap boxes, plastic items.
