The FIFA U17 Women's World Cup 2020 has been postponed due to coronavirus. The FIFA Under- 17 Women's World Cup 2020 was scheduled to be held in India in November but has been postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic. However, earlier it was said that the tournament would start from its predetermined time, but the football governing body has decided to postpone it. The FIFA Committee has postponed the tournament indefinitely keeping in view the health of the spectators, players and support staff. This decision has also been appreciated by the All India Football Federation.

The World Cup was to be held in India from November 2 to November 21 but has now been postponed. Earlier this tournament was held in Spain in the year 2018. There have been 6 seasons of this tournament to be held every two years. FIFA has not given any information about when the seventh season will be held now. In March last year, India hosted the Under 17 Women's World Cup.

Let us tell you that due to the coronavirus, more than 58 thousand people have lost their lives worldwide, while 10 lakh people are still infected with this virus. Talking about India, more than 2600 cases have been reported.
