Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Devendra Fadnavis has made a statement about a united India, which is making headlines. Devendra Fadnavis has said that we believe in ‘Akhand Bharat’, we believe that one day Karachi will also be a part of India. There are many political responses to this statement of the former Chief Minister.
In fact, a Shiv Sena leader in Maharashtra recently gave a statement about Karachi Sweets in Mumbai. The Shiv Sena leader said that Karachi Sweets should remove ‘Karachi’ from its name, as it is a city in Pakistan.

After this, this statement was being discussed in Maharashtra and now this statement of Devendra Fadnavis has come out.

However, the party has distanced itself from the controversy that started after the Shiv Sena leader’s statement. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had said in a statement that Karachi Sweets has been in Mumbai for many decades, so his name has nothing to do with Pakistan. The statement given is not a stand of the Shiv Sena.
Many types of statements have been coming on ‘Akhand Bharat’
Significantly, the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and their associated organizations constantly make aggressive statements about a united India. Whether it is to link Pakistan-occupied Kashmir with India or to make a statement about a united India.

Prior to Devendra Fadnavis, BJP leader Ram Madhav, RSS leader Indresh Kumar and many other leaders have given statements about Akhand Bharat.
