How many times have you accidentally sent a message on the wrong group on Facebook Messenger? How many times have you mistyped something in a chat on Messenger? How many times have you sent a message on Messenger that you wish you could take back?

Probably many. Up until now, there was no way to retract those messages on Messenger. But that changes today as Facebook has rolled out a new feature on to its Facebook Messenger that will allow you to retract the sent message.

Like another social messaging site now the messenger is also on the way to delete some message that you don't want to send or you don't want those messages will be read by other so now facebook let you unsend your embarrassing messages.

Starting from today the popular app now starting the new function that you can unsend your message you want to be in the conversation that the message should be removed from the place and that message will not embrace you on that situation you are on.

There are few things or we can say precaution that you can delete the message in less than 10 minutes of sending you can try it now by tapping and holding on one of your messages until the 'Remove' button shows up. From there you can choose to remove it from just your phone or from everyone in the chat.

On the other hand, if you want to remove a message just for yourself, you can do that anytime simply by selecting "Remove for you" option. But do remember that doing so would only remove the message just for you and other people in the chat window will still be able to see your message.

Facebook Messenger has rolled out its Delete for everyone features to its users across the globe on Android and iOS platforms. All you need to do is update your Messenger app and you are good to go.

Notably, Messenger's unsend message option came into public light after the company last year admitted that it had been secretly deleting messages sent by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg via Messenger. Shortly after, the social media giant announced that it would roll out a similar feature on to the Messenger for the regular folks as well.

And now, nearly nine months later the company has made good on its promise and rolled out the feature for all its users across the globe.

The option replaces the previous 'Delete' button which would confusingly only remove the offending message from your screen but wouldn't recall it for everyone else.

Facebook is letting users remove messages even if they've already been seen by other users, but obviously, you won't be able to remove that embarrassing photo from their mind.

Just like Whatsapp Delete for Everyone feature, Facebook Messenger's Delete for Everyone feature too comes with a narrow window within which you can unsend the sent message.
