EV India Expo: Electric Vehicle Fair to be held at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan

Due to the Covid epidemic, many auto events in the country have been cancelled continuously. However, now the good news is coming. The 11th Electric Vehicle Expo is starting from 6 August in the country's capital New Delhi. This is also the first auto event of the year. This 3-day long event will end on August 8.

First, let's talk about the location and timing of the event.

This event is being organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event will run from 6 to 8 August. Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the event from Hall No 3 of Pragati Maidan. This 3-day long event will start daily from 10 am to 6 pm. This is the 11th edition of this event. The theme of the event is based on making the country pollution-free.

You are coming to this event from New Delhi Railway Station, then the distance of Pragati Maidan from there is about 5 km. You can reach here in about 20 minutes with the help of taxi.

If you are coming to this event from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, then the distance of Pragati Maidan from there is about 6.5 km. You can reach here in about 25 minutes with the help of taxi.

You are coming to this event from ISBT Bus Stand Kashmere Gate, then the distance of Pragati Maidan from there is about 10 km. You can reach here in about 25 minutes with the help of a taxi.

If you are coming to this event from Indira Gandhi International Airport, then the distance of Pragati Maidan from there is about 22.5 km. You can reach here in about 45 minutes with the help of a taxi.

Exhibitors attending the event

Many companies manufacturing electric and hybrid two-wheeler, three-wheeler and four-wheelers are participating in this event. All of them will offer commercial, cargo, passenger and personal electric vehicles. Indian and international electric vehicle parts and components companies will also participate in the event.

These include battery technology companies, charger manufacturers, accessories manufacturers, government sectors and departments, testing agencies, banks and financial institutes, insurance companies, research and training institutes, body/chassis fabricators, solar power technology companies and branding solution providers (like plates, stickers, screen printers etc.).

visitors will have to follow Covid protocol

Visitors will be given free entry here. However, they will be required to follow face masks and social distancing under the Covid protocol. However, there is currently no information about how many visitors will get entry in the event. That is if there is more crowd in the event then how will it be controlled.

Discussion on e-vehicle challenge and opportunity

A day before the start of the event i.e. on August 5, issues, challenges and opportunities related to e-vehicles will be discussed. This conference will be held in Hall No 7 of Pragati Maidan. Representatives of many companies will participate in this conference. Not only this, the exhibitors attending the EV Expo have also been given a 50% discount for attending this conference.
