Since Diwali in Delhi, pollution levels have reached the 'severe' category. Areas around the capital also remained as gas chambers and there is no hope of relief for the next two days. In Delhi on Wednesday morning, the PM2.5 level was 500 (severe) and the PM10 level was 379 (very poor). After this, the situation reaches 'emergency critical'. AQI was recorded till 400 on Tuesday in Delhi. Ghaziabad recorded the highest pollution in the air.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the very low air flow, this pollution has stopped in Delhi and surrounding areas. The Meteorological Department said that relief is not expected for the next two days. Explain that AQI up to 0-50 is considered 'good'. 51 to 100 'satisfactory', 101-200 'medium', 201-300 'bad'. 301-400 falls in the 'very poor' and above it serious category. AQI above 500 is for severe and emergency situations.

On October 27, there were some cases of subtle burning, but now farmers are burning a large number of straw. In 24 hours, the cases of Parali have increased from 1654 to 2577. The trend of the winds is also from the northwest. Due to this, the smoke of the straw is reaching Delhi easily. The air quality index will remain similar for the next two days. However at times during the day it can also reach the severe category. The situation is expected to improve from 1 November itself.

On Tuesday, Pollution Level 446 of Ghaziabad and 439 of Noida were recorded. Amid worsening situation, the Central Pollution Control Board convened an emergency meeting of the task force on Wednesday. In the last 24 hours, cases of subtle burning in north-western India have increased rapidly. Because of this, there is a smog in and around Delhi.
