The film 'Queen' and 'Super 30' fame Vikas Bahl is going to make 'Ganpat' the most expensive film of his career. It is set in 2090, 69 years from today. Amit Ray said, "We have created three types of cities. One where there is poverty, as the slums of Dharavi. There is crime and anarchy. Some kind of city, like Gotham City in the movie 'Joker. It was a fantasy city, but closer to reality."
Amit Ray further adds, "The film 'Ganpat' will basically see a city of three classes. One which is very poor. The other is Bhimtal, which belongs to the middle-class people. The name of the third type of city is Silver City. Only rich people live there. Like Singapore, London, New York cities have glass buildings, dazzling lights, etc. The dazzling world that will be there in our film will also be an upgraded version of those cities. The original fight in the film is also for the rich and among the poor."
The schedule of 'Ganpat' will be from September to December. Only then will Vikas Bahl be able to start 'Goodbye'. Sources said, "Now the schedule of the film is yet to come to Rishikesh. Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, and other actors will come to shoot. The film also has a cameo of Neena Gupta. The film is on Amitabh's shoulders. His daughter's character in the film. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna. Her two more sons live in Australia.
Vikas Bahl has made this story from the perspective of a father. In the film, Amitabh will be seen in the role of a retired government officer. His wife has passed away in the film. Amitabh Bachchan had earlier told the story of a father-daughter relationship in 'Piku'. The film's creative team revealed that in 'Goodbye' too, the father-daughter relationship is at the center, but Deepika's character in 'Piku' moves the story forward. Here in 'Goodbye', the story travels from the perspective of Amitabh Bachchan's character himself. Rashmika is in the role of a fashion designer in the film. So far, most of the shooting of the film has been done in Chandivali, Dahisar, Mumbai. Vikas Bahl had created Chandigarh at these places keeping in mind the convenience and precaution of Amitabh Bachchan.
