Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar passed away on Wednesday morning at around 7:30 am. Dilip Kumar was 98 years old. He breathed his last at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. He will be cremated today at 5 pm at Santacruz Cemetery in Juhu. It will involve a limited number of people.

Dilip Kumar's health was not well for a long time. He also had to be admitted to the hospital several times. Dilip Kumar was admitted to the hospital twice in the last one month. Dilip Kumar's real name was Muhammed Yusuf Khan

Doctors said – we wanted him to complete the age of 100

Dilip Kumar's doctor Jalil Parkar told the media, 'Dilip sahab was facing age related problems. In such a situation, it is not right at this time to ask what kind of treatment was being given to them. You don't ask the reason for death. Give me some respect.

Dr Parkar further said, 'May the soul of Dilip Sahab rest in peace. As you all know that Dilip Sahab was facing respiratory problems. Doctors were engaged in his treatment. Dr. Nitin Gokhale was also present who was treating him for 21 years. We all wanted Dilip Sahab to complete 100 years of age.

Worked in about 60 films

Dilip Kumar acted in about 60 films in a career spanning five decades. One more thing is said about him that he had turned down many films in his career, because he believed that films should be less, but better. Many people tell that he was sorry that he could not work in 'Pyaasa' and 'Deewar'.

Some of his hits include 'Jwar Bhata' (1944), 'Andaz' (1949), 'Aan' (1952), 'Devdas' (1955), 'Azad' (1955), 'Mughal-e-Azam' (1960). ), 'Ganga Jamuna' (1961), 'Kranti' (1981), 'Karma' (1986) and 'Saudagar' (1991).

Two brothers died of corona

Earlier, due to Corona, two younger brothers of Dilip Kumar had died last year. On August 21, Aslam, aged 88, and then on September 2, Ehsan, aged 90, passed away. Due to this, Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar did not celebrate their 54th wedding anniversary on 11 October.

Was born in Peshawar

Dilip Sahab was born on 11 December 1922 in Peshawar (now in Pakistan) of British India. He did his studies in Nashik. At the age of 22, Dilip Kumar got his first film. In 1944, she worked in the film Jwar Bhata, but it did not perform well.
