After giving an astonishing performance in URI: The Surgical Strike, Vicky Kaushal has returned to give another effective performance in for the Udham Singh biopic which will be directed by Shoojit Sircar. For the individuals who are ignorant, Udham Singh was a patriot who had shot Michael O'Dwyer dead, the man responsible for the disastrous Jallianwala Bagh slaughter which had occurred on April 13, 1919. Vicky Kaushal will be seen donning a clean-shaven look sans his trademark beard and mustache.
The film which went on floors in April this year has wrapped up its last shoot plan for Europe. Director Shoojit Sircar reported the wrap up on his Instagram post. Sharing a group image of the team, he stated, "Felt numb when it got over… Did not wish Shaheed Udham shooting get over .. Wish I could keep him alive..clutched him.. Hugged him.. Heartfelt thanks to my fearless crew." He likewise shared another image that was additionally shared by Vicky Kaushal. Vicky Kaushal will depict the main role in the film Sardar Udham Singh. It is planned to be released on October 2, 2020.
