After prodding fans with promotions, pictures, and trailers, the first trailer of Sonam Kapoor's The Zoya Factor was finally revealed Thursday evening. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, The Zoya Factor likewise stars Dulquer Salmaan, Sanjay Kapoor and Angad Bedi in significant roles. The Zoya Factor will hit theaters on September 20.

The trailer indicates Zoya (Sonam) cribbing how she is unfortunate as her love life and profession life suck. Her father, an army officer, thinks of her as a lucky charm for the Indian cricket team as she was born the day Kapil Dev and his group won the ICC World Cup in June 1983. Zoya says that she hates cricket, just to discover her Mr. Right in a cricketer from the Indian group, played by Dulquer Salmaan.

The Zoya Factor is based on Anuja Chauhan's book by a similar name. It manages a young advertising executive who ends up being viewed as Indian cricket team's good luck charm. According to the portrayal by the producers, when Zoya Solanki came into this world, the Indian Cricket Team made history by winning the World Cup for the absolute first time.
