Actress Adah Sharma, who won the hearts of the entire country with 'The Kerala Story' last year, is fully prepared to portray a terrifying bar dancer in the second season of 'Sunflower'.
Produced by Vikas Bahl and directed by Navin Gujral, the show stars Sunil Grover in the lead role.
Alongside him, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ranvir Shorey, Mukul Chadda, and Girish Kulkarni also play prominent roles.
Adding an intriguing twist to the storyline, Adah has been introduced as a bar dancer in the second season, promising to bring a new dynamism to the show.
Speaking about her character Rosie, Adah said, "I'm not sure if I'm allowed to reveal anything about my character yet. That remains a mystery. But, I'm playing someone who's wicked yet endearing, and also a bit scary." To prepare for the role, I've watched numerous documentaries on serial killers and psychopaths."
The actress stated, "This role will definitely be very different from Shalini. I'm very fortunate that the producers are considering me for various roles." She further added, "As an actress, I read the character of 'Rosie,' and I was very excited that Vikas Bahl and Chaitali have written a character for such a girl who is weird, scary, and evil."
She further said, "To bring my character to life, I studied about serial killers and individuals with various personality disorders. I even underwent physical training as a labourer to learn how to break walls with a sledgehammer."
This show is a crime comedy that revolves around a middle-class housing society named 'Sunflower' in Mumbai. The premiere of 'Sunflower 2' will soon be on Zee5.
