Actress Taapsee Pannu, who created a stir in cinema, has taken another big step for environmental protection. She has become the first Indian actress who has taken the initiative to wear clothes made of waste to film shoots. Taapsee is going to start this with her fast-growing Telugu film 'Mission Impossible. She says the present time is the best time for actresses in cinema and she is fortunate that she is getting a chance to act in this era. Taapsee Pannu's upcoming Hindi films include 'Loop Lapeta', 'Rashmi Rocket' and 'Dobaara'. His last film 'Haseen Dilruba' released directly on OTT. There has also been a lot of curiosity among the audience about his other film 'Shabaas Mithu'.

Taapsee believes that –

Costumes change in almost every other scene in the shooting of films. In a film, hundreds of pairs of costumes are made by combining the main and supporting cast. Many times in big-budget films, more than a hundred pairs of clothes are used in a single song. Taapsee believes that if all these clothes can be reused after shooting, then a big work can be done in the direction of environmental protection. And, that is why Taapsee has now started wearing such clothes in her films which are made by recycling the used clothes or made from waste.

Taapsee says –

Regarding this decision, Taapsee says, 'It was a frequent thought in my mind that dozens of pairs of clothes worn during the shooting of films go waste. After shooting, they are either lying in production receptacles for months and then thrown away. It happens very rarely that filmmakers think of reusing them or pay attention to recycling them. I am trying to contribute something in this direction that my clothes in the film should be made from such items which can be destroyed naturally or made from recycled material. I can do it in the film 'Mission Impossible. All the clothes I am wearing in this film are either made out of the garbage or things that can be destroyed naturally. I have liked this idea of Indrakshi and I will try to implement it in my future films as well.

Taapsee's previous film 'Haseen Dilruba', written by Kanika Dhillon and directed by Vinil Mathew, however, did not garner many accolades when it was released on OTT. But, Taapsee loves this character as much as she has loved her other films. The film 'Haseen Dilruba' has increased the problems for filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who is now under pressure for his next film 'Atrangi Re'. The director of the film 'Atrangi Re' is also Aanand L Rai and in this film, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush are the lead characters along with Akshay Kumar.
