Sutapa said, "Seeing Vicky on the big screen also reminded her of Irrfan, who was almost like a child excited about the film for his role." Recalling his days at the National School of Drama (NSD), he pointed out that it was unfair to compare Vicky and Irrfan because of their age and experience in films, insisting that Vicky's face reflected the passion, dedication, hard work. And his love for cinema looks exactly like Irrfan's.

Shee further added that wherever Irrfan is, he should be happy to see Vicky as 'Sardar Udham Singh' as it was his dream role.
