The Duffer Brothers' original series combines 80s nostalgia with suspense narrative to create an engaging series that pays tribute to masterpieces by Stephen King and Steven Spielberg while still working well as its own, unique sci-fi story packed with likable characters.

Stranger Things has three seasons so far, but all eyes are on Stranger Things 4. The fourth season is one of the most eagerly awaited new seasons of television presently in the works, and fans are anxious to learn everything they can about the new episodes.

When Will ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Be Released?

The COVID-19 shutdown likely influenced Netflix's initial strategy. Filming began in January 2020 and lasted barely a few months until work on the current season was halted owing to the epidemic, and filming did not restart until October 2020. Stranger Things was planned to film for seven months, from January to August 2020, but even then, the post-production time is lengthy.

The Duffer Brothers have also announced that while every episode in the fourth season is lengthy, Episodes 7, 8, and 9 are feature-length films.

As series regulars, Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, and Joseph Quinn join Robert Englund, Tom Wlaschiha, Nikola Duriko, Joel Stoffer, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Tyner Rushing, and Joe Chrest, Amybeth McNulty, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, and Grace Van Dien.

Netflix has also announced that the program has been renewed for a fifth and final season.

‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Cast Reveal

Stranger Things 4 will include the return of the entire core cast from Stranger Things 3, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke.

In addition, for Stranger Things Season 4, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman have been upgraded to series regulars. The second teaser trailer also confirms Matthew Modine's return as Martin Brenner in the upcoming season.

Who Are the New Stranger Things Season 4 Characters?

Peter Ballard, a compassionate man who works as an orderly at a psychiatric institution, will be played by Jamie Campbell Bower.

Eduardo Franco will portray Argyle, Jonathan's (Charlie Heaton) new closest buddy, who is characterized as a fun-loving stoner who works as a Sufer Boy Pizza delivery man.

Eddie Munson, an ambitious 80s metalhead who controls The Hellfire Club, Hawkins High School's official Dungeons & Dragons club, is played by Joseph Quinn. Eddie will be at the scary core of this season's mystery, reviled by those who don't understand him and adored by those who do.

Dmitri, a Russian prison guard who befriends Hooper throughout his confinement, will be played by Tom Wlaschiha. Dmitri is described as brilliant, cunning, and seductive, but can he be trusted as Hopper organizes his escape.

Sherman Augustus portrays Lt. Colonel Sullivan, a bright, no-nonsense guy who feels he knows how to finally put an end to the evil in Hawkins.

Mason Dye plays Jason Carver, an attractive affluent student who romances the most popular girl in school but finds his ideal world crumbling as a new evil threatens Hawkins.

Yuri, a sleazy and unpredictable Russian smuggler who enjoys stupid jokes, cold hard cash, and crunchy-style peanut butter, will be played by Nikola Yuriko.

An E star for Anne Vickie, a cool, fast-talking band nerd who attracts the attention of one of our favorite heroes, will be played by Amybeth McNulty.

Patrick, a Hawkins basketball star with friends, skill, and happy life until surprising circumstances send his life spinning out of control, will be played by Myles Truitt.

Regina Ting Chen will portray Ms. Kelly, a popular guidance counselor who genuinely cares about her pupils, particularly those who are struggling the hardest.

Chrissy, Hawkins High's top cheerleader, and the most popular girl in school will be played by Grace Van Dien. But a sinister truth lurks underneath the supposedly flawless veneer.

Finally, Nightmare on Elm Street great Robert Englund will play Victor Creel, a strange and imposing man imprisoned in a psychiatric facility for a heinous crime in the 1950s.
