Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied knot in Las Vegas on Sunday, according to media reports, after the famous pair renewed their romance over 20 years after they originally met.
According to People Magazine, the pair announced their marriage in a newsletter from Lopez, stating that they went to the desert city of Nevada to obtain a marriage license and wed at a chapel late Saturday.
"Love is lovely. Love is kind. Love, it turns out, is patient. Twenty years of endurance. That's exactly what we intended, "Lopez stated in the newsletter, according to the source.
According to The Los Angeles Times, the newsletter was signed "Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck," indicating that the award-winning actress has changed her name.
Affleck's representative could not be reached for comment right away. The phones at Lopez's talent agency, Creative Artists Agency, went unanswered.
According to document data given online by the county clerk's office, they got a marriage license in their names from Clark County on Saturday, July 16.
Affleck and Lopez, also known as "Bennifer," reconnected last year after almost two decades apart. They proposed in April of this year.
Affleck proposed to Lopez with a huge 6.1-carat pink diamond engagement ring in 2002, but they called off their wedding in 2003 and split up a few months later.
