Shefali said, "It was my wish that I adapt the child, but it was not so easy to explain it to Parag and my family. They are also right on their place, my father also told me that first get your child and adopt another. Adoption is a very big decision but when I explained to Parag that I want to give a good life to a child who was not adopted by his own parents, Parag understood this and now he is with me."

ADOPTION TAKES SO MUCH TIME

Shefali further said, "Talking about the parents, they are considering my thought and in the end this decision is of my husband and family and I would like them to support me and I have their blessings." Regarding the adoption process, Shefali said, "Adoption process in India is not so easy. We had started something, but now due to the lockdown, this process has stopped at the moment and it is not so easy. It takes two to three years to adapt."

Regarding parenting, Shefali said, "Due to the lockdown, we have got a lot of time to do research on it and we are preparing ourselves to be good parents. We are also working on many things. I am like a child myself, so Parag now has a habit of dealing with children."
