The nation is in lockdown due to corona virus. In such a situation, for the entertainment of the people, Doordarshan decided to re-telecast Ramanand Sagar's famous TV show 'Ramayan'. After 33 years, seeing the Ramayan again on TV, people are getting old memories back, while the news of the actors associated with this show is also coming out. Recently, Ram of this show i.e. Arun Govil was seen watching Ramayan with grandchildren and other family members. Now, a video of actor Arvind Trivedi playing the role of Ravana in the show has gone viral in which he is seen watching Ramayan at his home.

In the viral video, Arvind Trivedi is watching an episode featuring Sita's kidnapping. As the scene ends, Arvind joins hands, it seems that he is apologizing for Sita's kidnapping.

Arvind Trivedi is the brother of famous Gujarati theater artist Upendra Trivedi. Arvind made his bollywood debut in the year 1971 with Balraj Sahni's film 'Paraya Dhan' and then appeared in many Hindi films like 'Jungle Me Mangal', 'Prem Bandhan' and 'Hum Tere Aashiq'. In 1987, Ramanand Sagar created the TV show 'Ramayan', in which he signed most of the actors of his previous show 'Vikram Aur Betal'. Arvind was also one of them. Arvind Trivedi tried his hand not only in acting but also in politics, in 1991, Arvind Trivedi contested BJP's election from Sarbarkantha seat of Gujarat and became MP. Arvind has worked in more than 250 films, both Hindi and Gujarati films.

Arvind Trivedi was also the chairman of Censor board. Arvind, who is 84 years old, now spends time at his home away from acting.
