Sharing the viral news of reduced fees in the post, Akshay Kumar wrote, "Fake scoops like this have come to the fore as soon as I wake up in the morning." The producer of 'Bell Bottom' Vashu Bhagnani also shared the post and rubbished these reports. "There is no truth in this news," he wrote. 'Bell Bottom' is a period spy thriller whose story is set in the eighties. Akshay will be seen in the role of a secret agent in the film.
It was said in the viral news that the producer had asked Akshay to reduce his fees due to the increase in the budget of 'Bell Bottom' and the uncertainty about the release, to which the actor has agreed. It has been said in this report that Akshay had taken a fee of Rs 117 crore for 'Bell Bottom'. Now Akshay will charge Rs 135 crore for his upcoming films in 2022.
Akshay's fans are eagerly waiting for 'Bell Bottom'. A few days ago it was reported that the film can be released on the OTT platform. But, Akshay had also dismissed these reports by sharing the post. He also said that nothing has been decided yet regarding the release date of the film.
'Bell Bottom' has been shot during the coronavirus pandemic. Its teaser was also released last year. Akshay shot this film in Scotland. The film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari. Apart from Akshay, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in lead roles.
Apart from 'Bell Bottom', Akshay's Sooryavanshi is also ready for release. This film was also scheduled to release on April 30 this year but has been postponed due to Corona. Apart from these two films, Akshay will also be seen in 'Prithviraj', 'Raksha Bandhan', 'Atrangi Re', 'Bachchan Pandey' and 'Ram Setu'.
