Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra, who has been in jail for the last 60 days for making obscene films, was recently released from Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai.

Raj Kundra, who was arrested on July 19 on charges of obscene films, has been released from jail. Raj has been released from Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj was granted bail by a magistrate court on Monday on a surety of Rs 50,000.

Raj Kundra, while filing a bail application before the court, had claimed that there was no evidence against him in the supplementary charge sheet filed by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch in the case. He had claimed in the petition that there was no evidence of him being "actively" involved in the creation of alleged suspicious pornographic material and that he was being made a "scapegoat" in the case.

Raj Kundra was arrested in July

The Crime Branch, which is probing the case, had recently filed a supplementary charge sheet against Kundra and three other accused in the court. This case is related to allegedly making obscene movies and putting them on some apps. Kundra, the husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested on July 19. Under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act.
