2020 started with three releases Bhangra Paa Le, Sab Kushal Mangal and Shimla Mirchi. All three movies didn't have large names and consequently likewise failed at the box office. This week, we have two major releases having enormous names. It will be a conflict between Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak on January 10.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a period drama and depends on the life of Tanhaji Malusare, a seventeenth-century Maharashtrian Marathi military leader. Tanhaji's demonstrations of valor and bravery continued to inspire soldiers long after his death in battle. He was blessed with a body of steel, courage of a lion with an agile mind and Chattrapati Shivaji's nearest assistant and confided in lieutenant. Prepared to set out his life for his King and nation, this Braveheart did battle, equipped with a couple of Maratha warriors to get back the Kondana Fort, against the Mughal armed force headed by Udaybhan. Mughal's had the muscle power, however, Tanhaji had a sharp insight. Tragically, Marathas won Kondhana Fort, yet lost their Lion.

Darbar is a story of a cop on a pursuit to chase down a dreaded gangster for fulfilling his own secret agenda. This is an absolute necessity watch one as Rajinikanth will be back on-screen and furthermore Suniel Shetty will be found in this thriller. The film releases on January 9, 2020.
