Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan, has endured a significant drop in box office numbers, recommending that the film's Valentine's Day release was the most compelling motivation behind its strong the very beginning figures. As per Box Office India, Love Aaj Kal has dropped by an astounding 40% on day two. The film had made Rs 12.4 crore on Friday. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh composed that the film made Rs 8.01 crore on day two, taking its total earnings to Rs 20.41 crore.
"Shocking part is, the decline has come at metros/multiplexes, which is its target audience… Weak at Tier-2 cities as well as mass circuits," he composed, including that the film "Needs a miracle to salvage the show on Day 3."
Love Aaj Kal has been generally panned by pundits, who have contrasted it horribly with 2009 unique, additionally directed by Imtiaz.
