Archana Puran Singh has spoken against the claims in an interview that she always laughs and doesn't do anything in 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. She said that she does not laugh at everything in comedy shows.
Archana also revealed that she was still paying the cost of her days on the comedy show, 'Comedy Circus', where shots of her laughter were added after every joke, whether it was real or not.
She said, "The team (Comedy Circus) used to edit episodes in such a way that my laughter would add up to almost every episode and even in places where I didn't laugh. I even laughed at a boring joke, when in reality, I was not laughing. I have nothing against the makers, but I am sad that the editing team was not careful about it."
Archana speaking in her defense said, "It is not easy to sit for hours and judge an act. Similarly, if you notice on Kapil's show, I don't laugh at every joke. But since my days in 'Comedy Circus', people still holds this belief, I still have to bear the brunt that 'Archana ji just keeps on laughing and doesn't do anything in the show'.

Then Archana gave her reaction on this and said that she is not worried at all with Navjot Singh Sidhu resigning from the post of Congress President. Archana replaced cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu as a special guest on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' in February 2019.
