Bollywood couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif received death threats from a random person on Instagram and through other social media platforms.
However, they have filed a case at Santa Cruz Police Station and the accused has been detained by the police. In an investigation by the police, it was found that the person hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, who is struggling to become an actor.
It was also found that he is a big fan of actress Katrina Kaif and runs a page on Instagram where he posts fake pictures and videos of his marriage with Katrina.
The couple recently returned from the Maldives vacation after celebrating the birthday of Katrina with their family and friends from the Bollywood industry.
Vicky Kaushal claimed that the person is threatening and publicizing them on social media. He also said that he had stalked his wife too.
A month ago, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan too received death threats from an unidentified person. Their security officials received a letter stating that the father-son duo will also face the same result that Sidhu Moose Wala faced a couple of months ago when he was shot dead by a group of gangsters.
The letter was discovered by a team of security officials where Salim usually rests while out on a morning stroll.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actresses Swara Bhaskar and Queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut also have received death threats from unidentified persons.
Swara received a threatening letter on her Versova home. Kangana also received threats after her blogpost on Farm Law protestors.
