Indian Film and Television Director's Association (IFTDA) has engaged Godrej Properties to manufacture Raj Kapoor Museum on the site of notable RK Studios days after the realty firm declared the procurement of the land in Chembur.
Godrej is intending to create blended use venture lodging extravagance and retail space on the land.
"It is our unassuming intrigue to you for the benefit of the film business when all is said in done… To save some territory from the 33000 sq meters for Raj Kapoor's historical center which will revive recollections of Raj Kapoor for the coming age," an announcement from IFTDA read.
"We demand you to pay tribute to the amazing virtuoso, his art, his lowliness and give a grave idea to our intrigue. We are shears accessible for any inquiry, support, to make the works class exhibition hall, which will be a journey for the entire world."
Prior, Randhir Kapoor, oldest child of the late entertainer had said that the spot has been of "colossal essentialness to my family over the numerous decades that R K Studios has worked from that point.
