Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, who have worked together in several blockster films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, My Name is Khan and Dilwale, are one of the most loved pairing in the industry. Now this couple is once again ready to spread their magic on the big screen in Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming film. Rajkumar Hirani is soon making a film on immigration in which Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in the lead role of the immigrant and Kajol will be in the role of his wife. Apart from these, many other big faces will be seen in the film.
According to a recent Free Press Journal report, Hirani's upcoming film is going to be a social comedy based on immigration and the journey of a man who travels from Punjab to Canada with his family. Four big actors are going to be seen in this film.
Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in the role of a migrant in the film, while Kajol will play his wife. Taapsee Pannu has been approached for the role of a reporter covering Shah Rukh's journey in the film, while Vidya Balan is also in talks for a fourth key role, a woman who helps Shah Rukh in his journey.
Shah Rukh has been signed for the film while the final stage talks are currently going on with the other three characters. It will be officially announced by the makers after the casting is completed. The film is jointly produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chilli Productions, the shooting of which will start by April 2022. The music of the comedy film will be composed by Shantanu Moitra with lyrics by Swanand Kirkire.
